For Fuelman Pro and Enterprise plans you get added fraud loss coverage of $10K per card, or up to $25k per account, per year. Fuelman’s Basic plan does not offer fraud loss coverage.

WEX has a link to submit transaction disputes, but there is no public information regarding fraud loss coverage.

WEX vs. Fuelman vs. Alternatives: Which Card is Best for Your Business?

Selecting the right fuel card ultimately depends on which option best aligns with your fleet’s needs. Here are some questions and tips to guide you in the right direction:
  • Which fuel card is going to give you the best coverage for your routes?
  • Which card gives you the best discounts at the stations you use? Total the discounts you'll receive for each card based off the expected number of gallons you’ll purchase at participating discount locations.
  • What is the price before discounts? Is it more than the pump price?
  • Add up the expected fuel card fees for each card and subtract them from the discounts to get bottom line savings.
  • Put customer service to the test before you sign up.
  • Make sure you will get the controls and reports you need to accomplish your specific fleet fuel management goals.

After the evaluation process you should get a winner for your business.
