Pricing that saves money
We offer cost-plus or retail-minus pricing with CFN gas cards, depending on whether you prefer wholesale rates or set discounts. Tell us about your industry and the types of vehicles you operate, and your P-Fleet account representative can make recommendations based on those needs.
Check prices and manage cards online
P-Fleet customers can view CFN prices nationwide through our customer portal, ensuring no surprises. Plus, you can easily manage and adjust fuel card limits anytime to accommodate your drivers.
Designed for commercial vehicles
With a CFN card, your drivers enjoy easy access to fuel sites designed for large trucks and equipment, so they can easily get in and out. Commercial fueling networks are designed for these vehicles. Many locations are open 24/7 to accommodate fleets and businesses that operate at all hours.
Access to off-road diesel
Purchasing off-road diesel for your equipment can save significant money upfront and avoid the hassle of filing for tax refunds afterward. If you have to file, get help with our reporting solutions.
More discount locations than truck stops
There are nearly three times as many CFN fuel sites as truck stops in the Western U.S. and over 3,000 locations nationwide. This means more locations and discounts for commercial customers. When evaluating the best fleet fuel cards for your company, consider not only the discounts but the types of fuel stations that are included, especially if you run a fleet of trucks.
65,000 retail locations included, all in one card
Discounted pricing is available at CFN sites, but if there isn't one nearby, certain retail gas stations and truck stops can be added to your card for wider acceptance. Pay the pump price without transaction fees for the ultimate convenience.
Get more locations and lower prices.
The CFN fuel card is ideal for trucking fleets operating in western states. See how the number of sites compares by state, or use our site locator to check coverage along your routes.
Add retail brands for extra coverage.
If you run beyond the West or need more sites, P-Fleet has you covered. Add retail access to 65,000 gas stations and truck stops nationwide. With CFN cards, customers get the best of both worlds.
Customers save money with the CFN fuel card.
We offer different pricing options to meet the specific needs of each customer who uses a CFN card. Some customers prefer cost-plus pricing that follows the wholesale market. Others prefer retail-minus pricing with set discounts. We'll work with you to find the best option that fits your needs and allows for discounts upfront rather than waiting for a rebate. Plus, you can check prices online for total transparency.
Cost-plus pricing
Cost-plus pricing at discount sites is based on Oil Price Information Service (OPIS).
Retail-minus pricing
Pricing can also be discounted off average AAA rates or truck stops for select areas.
Pump pricing
Pricing for optional retail gas stations and truck stops is set by those merchants.
Fuel tax exemptions
Agricultural, municipality or bus exemptions can be applied to invoices if you qualify.
Experience clear pricing without hidden fees.
Customers deserve transparent pricing, not hidden fees. We post CFN prices online so you can see what you’ll pay. We don't charge hidden fees for setting up your account, monthly card fees, or late payment fees. We bill customers for the purchases they make during the invoice period, and there's a nominal fee per account invoice to offset administrative costs.
- No account setup fees
- No monthly card fees
- No transaction fees
- No late payment fees
Take control of fuel costs with account and card security.
CFN card controls give fleet managers multiple ways to prevent employee misuse and maintain control over company fueling.
-
Draft a driver policy.
We can help your team draft a fuel policy so that your drivers clearly understand permitted card use — including the consequences of misuse. Have drivers sign the policy to document acceptance of the terms. Clearly define that non-compliant purchases using the CFN fuel card will be considered employee theft.
-
Set card limits.
Manage costs by reducing unauthorized purchases. Set controls by driver or vehicle, allowing you to customize restrictions by cardholder. All cards require a PIN or Driver ID to fuel. Controls include:
- Number of transactions per day
- Gallons per transaction
- Authorized fueling times and days
- Fuel or product type restrictions
-
Receive email alerts.
Set alerts for activity that might differ from your normal purchasing patterns, including:
- Product exceptions
- Driver transaction errors
- Fueling outside of business hours or days
- Fueling away from designated locations
- Alerts when specific cards are used
-
Monitor driver usage.
Online management tools allow customers to monitor purchases before invoices are issued. For example, you can:
- Compare driver and vehicle totals.
- Run reports for any time period.
- Download transactions into Excel.
-
Track MPG and CPM.
Track miles per gallon (MPG) and cost per mile (CPM) when drivers enter odometers at the pump. Changes in vehicle efficiency could indicate maintenance issues or driver theft.

-
Who can apply for a CFN fleet card account?
Any business, sole proprietor, owner-operator or independent contractor can submit an application. Accounts are only set up for commercial use, not consumers. If you want access to the Commercial Fueling Network (CFN) and the features and benefits available to cardholders, you'll need to meet a monthly minimum for fleet fueling.
-
Are there minimum purchase requirements?
We set up accounts for customers that use at least $1,000 per month on average during the year. This threshold ensures that accounts are profitable and that customers are able to make the most of the discounts available within the network.
-
Is there an APR finance fee?
We don't add a fee for late invoice payments, but we encourage payments to be made on time to avoid any service disruption. If an account is closed with an unpaid balance, we may charge 1.5% per month until the balance is resolved.
-
How do I find accepting sites?
You can find locations using our site locator or mobile app. If you're a customer, our customer service team can also assist you in finding locations while you're on the road. If you're not a customer yet, ask our sales team for assistance in finding sites where you operate.
-
Can I use my CFN fuel card at other sites?
Most customers fuel at CFN stations because of the discounts available. However, cards include optional access to 57,000 retail gas stations and truck stops. When you need extra coverage, you have the convenience of Chevron, Pilot Flying J and Love's, among other major brands.
-
How do you compare to other vendors?
We're dedicated to helping our customers, which is why most of them rate our customer service as excellent via independent, third-party reviews. Check out our reviews page to see what customers think.
-
Are there any contracts?
No contracts. We stand behind our products and services, but if you're unhappy for any reason, you can easily cancel your account. Our fleet fueling system is flexible, and we don't lock customers into a long-term commitment.
