Mudflap launched in 2020 as a mobile app that helps truckers save money through discounts at partner fuel locations. In 2023, Mudflap launched its own fuel card, giving trucking fleets greater control over driver fuel purchases and detailed reporting insights, while still providing access to the same fuel discounts available through the app.
Today, Mudflap offers substantial discounts at more than 3,600 in network locations, with average savings estimated at 57¢ per gallon. Unlike traditional trucking fuel cards that run on dedicated fuel networks, Mudflap runs on the Visa network, so it can be used at any truck stop or gas station that accepts Visa.
On the management side, Mudflap includes controls like transaction limits, spend category restrictions, and SMS or app based card unlock. It also offers telematics powered security that can confirm the vehicle is near the station and the tank level makes sense before approving a purchase. Fleet managers also get access to a portal to manage cards, review transactions, download IFTA reports, and route drivers to the lowest priced locations.
Mudflap keeps pricing simple. There are no monthly card fees, setup fees, or transaction fees. The only fees are late payment fees if invoices aren’t paid on time. If your fleet is diesel heavy and you want strong truck stop discounts without subscription costs, Mudflap is a good option.
Since Mudflap runs on the Visa network, it works at any truck stop or gas station that accepts Visa. And because Visa is one of the most widely accepted card networks in the United States, Mudflap will work almost anywhere your drivers fuel up.
Mudflap offers estimated discounts of 57¢ per gallon at more than 3,600 partner locations. At all other stations that accept Visa, you’ll receive 2¢ per gallon off. You can use the Mudflap app to find locations with the best discounts and pricing.
| Locations | Amount |
