What Is the Gulf Fuel Card?
The Gulf fuel card is a branded business gas card designed for companies that regularly fuel at Gulf stations and want rebates along with fuel card controls and reporting.
It’s issued through WEX and comes in three versions:
- Gulf Universal Fleet Card: Accepted at Gulf locations plus the broader WEX network, giving fleets rebates at Gulf locations and access to 95% of fuel stations nationwide.
- Gulf Commercial Fleet Card: Accepted only at Gulf stations and offers the same rebate program as the Universal card.
- Gulf Business Fleet Card: Accepted only at Gulf stations, it does not include rebates, but has no monthly card fee, making it a better option for lower volume fleets where avoiding card fees provides more savings than volume discounts.
