What Is the Valero Fuel Card?

The Valero fuel card is a branded business fuel card issued through WEX, designed for companies that regularly fuel at Valero-branded stations. It combines per-gallon rebates at Valero, Shamrock, Diamond Shamrock, and Beacon locations with spending controls and reporting tools, making it a great option for fleets that already fuel within the Valero network.

Valero offers two versions of the card. The Valero Fleet Select card is limited to Valero-branded locations only and has a simpler, lower-fee structure for fleets that don’t need broader acceptance. The Valero Fleet Plus card expands acceptance to the full WEX network, giving drivers access to 95% of fuel stations nationwide, but it comes with additional fees and truck stop transaction charges.

Both cards run on the WEX platform, so fleet managers can set spend limits, restrict fueling by time and day, require PINs or prompts at the pump, and access transaction and fuel tax reporting through the WEX portal.

Where Is the Valero Fuel Card Accepted?

The Valero Fleet Plus fuel card works at more than 5,000 Valero locations and also the broader WEX network, giving you access to roughly 95% of fuel stations nationwide. The Valero Fleet Select fuel card can only be used at Valero stations. Use the links below to find locations that accept the card near you.
