P-Fleet Conducts Webinar to Combat Fuel Card Fraud

As scammers develop sophisticated technologies to defraud businesses, it is vital for both commercial drivers and fleet managers to stay vigilant. P-Fleet’s President and CEO, Jake Zuanich, conducted a webinar in partnership with Automotive Fleet to inform the public about the risks of card skimmers, devices which capture fuel card information at the pump.

Though optimizing fuel card controls is the best way to minimize fraud, vigilance is still essential for commercial drivers. “Always protect your account numbers and PINs. If the pump looks like it’s been tampered with, don’t use it. If the station doesn’t seem safe, try to go somewhere else with good lighting and cameras,” Jake Zuanich encourages.
